The Millis Group, Inc., and its affiliated companies, are known for developing quality projects that are unique to the marketplace. For the past twenty five years, the Millis Group of Companies have focused on the development of residential communities. In 1996, it was determined that there was a market for larger than normal lots with the same entry system and amenities as available in the master planned communities. Millis Management Corporation developed "Shiloh Lake Estates", an acreage lot community and the concept was well received by the public. Subsequently, "Royal Lakes Estates" a larger master planned community with estate lots was developed utilizing the same philosophy.
The Millis Group, Inc. began another prestigious private entry gated subdivision entitled "Sovereign Shores Estates" with lots averaging 1.5 acres in size that also proved to be very successful. For the past ten years, The Millis Group, Inc. has been acquiring property for residential and commercial development with new theories and concepts in mind.
For the Millis organization, "Kingdom Heights" is another premier master planned community that caters to the family looking for a unique place to live in the Richmond/Rosenberg area. The development will contain approximately 1,547 home sites and 22 acres of commercial reserve on 597 acres of land. A "cluster" concept will be utilized to allow twenty five percent of the lots to be lake front and fifty percent of the lots to be centered on 48 parks located throughout the community. The Millis Group, Inc. will also design, construct, own and manage the retail facilities in this development.
In 2001, The Millis Group, Inc. developed its first three story office building in Sugar Land, Texas that now serves as the corporate headquarters for the Millis Group, Inc. Over the past fifteen years, the foundation has been laid for these companies to experience consistent growth and productivity. The Millis Group, Inc. has purchased an adequate inventory of land for residential development and plans to diversify it holdings with additional commercial properties in the near future.
